Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a highlight. The mattress felt too firm for my comfort, though.

everything was great during 3 days, loved its great and incredible location next to an easy to reach location in the medina, near to restaurants, sights, and the blue gate and a big medina and the ctm bus station. good choice of food for breakfast, which was appetising to satisfy everyone.

Impressive hotel, airy rooms, excellent view of the whole town. Exceptionally comfortable beds, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a microwave oven and a refrigerator in the room.

The place looked charming, but the room was so tiny it reminded me of a shoebox, and the noise at night was just unbearable. After such a terrible experience, I expected a complimentary gift or upgrade, but alas, I guess that's too much to ask. I almost thought I'd write a good review, but just couldn't.

Big hype, little substance
While the riad boasts really good hospitality, it's a mixed bag for comfort. Rooms are charming but slightly cozy, which may not appeal to everyone. The standout mint tea and delicious breakfast, served on the beautiful rooftop, elevate the experience. Still, navigating the narrow streets can be a bit challenging for first-timers.

The mint tea served during breakfast was among the best I've ever had, and the staff were helpful, providing valuable local insights.
The bathroom in our room could use some maintenance as a few fixtures were showing signs of wear.

good washing service, beautiful rooftop terrace, enchanting atmosphere
Staircase to the upstairs rooms is steep!!! Noise from the bustling Medina is quite noticeable!!! Upgrading the bathrooms could enhance comfort significantly!!! A more informative hotel guide would have improved our exploration experience !!!

Here's why it's a mixed review
The hospitality was really good! The rooftop terrace breakfast and mint tea were highlights, while the staff provided tremendous local insights and support.
The location, while convenient for shopping, had some narrow streets which could be difficult to navigate at times.

The location was perfect, and the staff really cared about us. We visited the fine Palaces and enjoyed a tasty cooking class nearby. The breakfast spread was delicious, and Mohammed even made us the best mint tea! Don't miss the fine rooftop to relax after a long day.
Be aware that the building is older, so the rooms may not be completely soundproof. It didn't bother us too much, but it could be an issue if you're a light sleeper.

Staying here was a blast! I enjoyed a fantastic cooking class with Omar and loved unwinding on the sunny terrace with breathtaking views. The bed was a bit firmer than I prefer, but it didn’t take away from the awesome experience—definitely book that cooking class! 🍽️
